Witness the Magical Performance of Hallelujah at an Irish Wedding

Wedding guests were in for a special treat when the priest at Chris and Leah O’ Kane’s nuptials performed a beautiful rendition of Leonard Cohen’s classic “Hallelujah”.

The song was sung by Father Ray Kelly of County Meath, who is well known for his silky voice. He is often asked to sing at weddings and funerals, and has even released three albums. But on the day of Chris and Leah’s wedding, no one expected this surprise performance.

What was once dismissed as a quirky tradition is now being challenged — and it’s a young Dublin busker who’s leading the charge.
