Dear Ireland,
There’s a quiet kind of healing in your hills, a softness in your skies that speaks to the soul. When the world feels loud and uncertain, you remind us to slow down, to breathe, to simply be. You’re not just a place on the map — you’re a feeling we carry, a longing we return to, and a story that always knows how to welcome us home.

Do You Remember Your First Trip To Ireland?
With 3 of my grandparents hailing from Mayo, Sligo & Donegal, on my very first visit of many, as the oldest grandchild, I was fortunate to be able to visit each homestead meeting with the relations while staying in Sligo at my maternal grandfather’s homestead. From our youth, each grandparent would regale us with stories about their growing up in Ireland. On my very first visit I brought the cousins a bottle of Jamesons from the distillery I had visited only to find out my Mom’s cousins had taken the “Pledge” to abstain from alcohol. The cousins accepted the gift & stored it away with other such “gifts” in case any visitors would like to imbibe. Fortunately, I was able to relive my grandparents stories in my visits to their homesteads.
