Hello everyone. I'm Mike, one of the Moderators of Love Ireland. I'm American born with deep Irish roots on both sides of my family. I was always raised to be very proud of my Irish heritage as a little Lad and have carried that with me all of my life. Most of my family came from Dublin, Cork, Galway, Donegal, Derry and Belfast.
I will never forget my Nana O'Keeffe and my grandfather doing the Irish jig in the kitchen making soda bread in the Folger coffee tins, I always wondered why they had a collection of those tins in their garage, now I know why!
