The River Nore is the main river which flows through Kilkenny, the county town of County Kilkenny. It rises in the Devil’s Bit Mountain in County Tipperary and then flows south-eastwards until it merges with the River Barrow at Inistioge. The combined waters then flow into Waterford Harbour and eventually into the Atlantic Ocean.
